VectorayGen 0.15.1 – HOTFIX

VectorayGen 0.15.1-Beta HOTFIX has been released!

Recently, we’ve gotten a massive influx of emails and messages from artists who use VectorayGen. These emails were all on the topic of the software not starting, SLI/Crossfire Graphics Configs crashing the software, and misc constant crashes.

We believe this was due to a combination of new Windows Updates, Vulkan API Updates, and Graphics Driver Updates over the past week. We’ve released a HOTFIX in hopes that it’ll solve a good majority of your crashes!

Where on earth is version 1.0?

Version 1.0 was promised to be out by May 15th. We’re nearly a full month past that expected launch date now and it’s still not out yet. We’ve had some members of the company come and go and had a number of huge setbacks both in the amount of work that needed to be done, and the difficulty of the tasks at hand.

This still isn’t a valid excuse.

We are sincerely committed to delivering a great product that works. We promise that you’ll love the updates to come and hope that you are getting the best out of our software as it stands. If you have any questions or critiques, please reach out to us!
